Designed aerodynamic and practical mounts for my garmin GPS device.
Designed and FDM 3D printed mounts for my Garmin GPS device to be used on my bikes. The mounts were designed to be aerodynamic and practical, allowing for better visibility of the device while riding.
Due to the limited mounting options for my Garmin on my bikes, I decided to design my own mounts that would exactly fit my needs. I first started out with a prototype mount for my time trial bike, which was made out of zip ties and an old Garmin mount. After testing this prototype, and when the zip ties subciquently failed I moved on to a more permanent solution, designing a mount that would be 3D printed and fit my bike perfectly. After the success of the first printed mount I then designed a second mount for my mountain bike, which was designed to be aerodynamic and practical for long endurance rides.
